Kommentar: Eugene de Salignac (1861–1943), American photographer, worked for the Department of Bridges/Plant and Structures in New York City. He documented the construction of what we now consider iconic New York City architecture as well as daily life during the great depression. Salignac was largely forgotten until the 1990s. This book is the first monograph of his work.
