Kommentar: A five-act tragedy in blank verse. The play was first performed in 1891 at the Broadway theatre in New York City under the title Guido Ferranti. Jane van Etten used the play as the basis of a one-act opera in 1914. It was one of the first operas by a woman to be produced by a regular company. This edition on handmade paper is limited to 1000 copies for the United Kingdom and America.
