Large 8vo. xiv + (2) + 427 pp. xii + (2) + 582 pp. Contemp. half calf. Pg. 33/I partly loose and with a small damp st. Some rubbing to bindings, otherwise a very good, clean and firm copy.
Kommentar: Stumpf began his great work on the psychology of music and tones in 1875. Tonpsychologie I was finally published in 1883. The sec. vol. deals with combinations of tones and reports the results of Stump’s famous experiments on tonal fusion, historically the most important item in the 2 vols.
