Kommentar: The German born artist Helmut Herzfeld left for England in 1938 and changed his name. The famous piece from 1935 entitled Hurrah, die Butter ist Alle! [pp. 195] was on the front of the AIZ in 1935 showing a family at a kitchen table, with portrait of Hitler and wallpaper with swastikas. The family are attempting to eat pieces of metal, such as chains, bicycle handlebars, and rifles. Below a quote by Hermann Göring during food shortage: “Iron has always made a nation strong, butter and lard have only made the people fat.”
